Ed & Lisa"The Original Anomalist," Ed Craft and co-author, Lisa Carmody talk about The Valley of the Moon -- a haunted area in California wine country. The region is connected with such famous residents as General Vallejo and the famed author Jack London and home to some of California's most interesting haunted houses.

London's "castle" home, for example, is ostensibly haunted -- not only by the famed author -- but be some of the characters he created in his tall tales of the west.

The Valley of the Moon Saloon is said to be the home of an excentric ghost who re-arranges furniture and opens or closes doors in the pantry.  Guests staying in one of the upper rooms sometimes report that bars of soap "float" into the palm of their hands while taking a shower.

This look into the spirit world of Northern California promises to be a real hair-raising start to our Halloween season show line-up!

Pangea's, Scott Marlowe, will host.

Michael HornMichael Horn is the Authorized American Media Representative for the Billy Meier Contacts (www.theyfly.com), which he has researched since 1979 (and proved to be absolutely authentic). He is the writer and producer of the new, award-winning feature length documentary, "The Silent Revolution of Truth", as well as the writer, producer and narrator of the DVD "The Meier Contacts - The Key To Our Future Survival".

Michael is returning to World of Weird to discuss his new film, "Breaking the Silence" (2009 Honolulu International Film Festival, 2009 Telly Award), featuring the song "I'll Be My Own Hero", performed by Andrea Dair.

Horn's "Breaking the Silence," -- originally intended to celebrate women's beauty -- evolved into an emotionally compelling and empowering piece.

While conducting interviews, Co-Producer and Co-Director Michael Horn found himself deeply moved by the painful and touching stories these young women he interviewed shared with Michael and his daughter Davida (who also became a participant in the film).

This masterpiece of short cinema brought these amazing women together as an inspiration to others.

Be sure to listen in to this provocative interview.

Charlie & ScarlettMysteries magazine co-publisher and Florida's acknowledged "Master of the Werid," Charlie Carlson joins PBS producer, Mia Laurenzo in a discussion about the making of the new television special "Weird Florida: Roads Less Traveled" and some upcoming events for the Charlie has in store for you during this Halloween season.

August was a busy month for the new production.  Charlie had to be in the studio in Miami and at three prescreenings of Weird Florida Roads Less Traveled.

In Ormond Beach, at the Cinematique theater, the sneak peak of the television show attracted a standing room only crowd who paid admission in the form of animal food in support of ARNI, an animal awareness group that supports a no-kill animal shelter.  In Sanford there was a double showing of the show at the Chamber of Commerce which attracted a good size audience from all over Central Florida.

The show's animal star, Miss Scarlet, was the center attraction with Charlie once again upstaged by his canine partner.

Tune in as host, Scott Marlowe, interviews Carlson and Laurenzo and uncovers some of the "weird" happenings behind the camera as well as the "strange characters" front of it.
